Wordpress RSS feed turned blank(empty)

I recently had an issue with wordpress on one of my blogs. When i accessed the RSS feed link i noticed there was no feed, i was surprised because everything looked ok with the blog, articles were there, comments were there but the feed was blank. I must say this happened after i moved my blogs to a new cluster. So the solution ? It was easy i just copied wp-admin folder, wp-includes folder and all the other files from wordpress folder except wp-content folder, .htaccess file, and sitemap files to my blog folder by overriding the files and the problem was solved. My feeds show up again.
I dont think it is necessary to copy all those folders again, maybe just the files arround them and it will solve the problem, but i am not sure. The method solved the problem and you can use it too if you stumble on this problem.
